We provide a range of live in care options, including 24 hour around the clock care, to help you or your loved one remain independent and living at home for as long as possible.
We aim to provide the same carers to each individual client to ensure continuity and to allow people to get to know each other. We are here for anyone who needs our help whether it is short term, long term, respite or emergency care that is required.
Your package of care is based on your specific needs and there is very little that we won’t do to provide you with the right care and support.
One of our main objectives is to support independence and we don’t just come in to your home and take over. If you want to help cook lunch or do the washing-up, you can! It is your home and your rules. You decide, not us!
“Mulberry Live In Care was established in May 2016 by myself Samantha Cork, I manage the day to day operations of the company along with my daughter Olivia who also works for the NHS. Olivia is one of my four children, the other three are all boys. I also have four dogs who are absolutely bonkers! But I couldn’t live without them if I am honest.
Throughout my life I have always had a caring nature and the desire to do things for people in the hope of making their day or life easier, I always like to go that extra mile and treat people the way I would like to be treated and also as individuals because that is what they are. That is why I decided to set up my own care agency.
Over the years I have worked for many other care companies as a Registered Manager, some large and some small. During that time I gained lots of knowledge, experience and understanding within the care sector. I would say I was extremely dedicated to my job, but most importantly my drive was helping vulnerable people by providing them with daily visits by my care staff who checked on their health and wellbeing.
Growing up and in my personal life I was always taught and encouraged to listen to others and to most importantly have respect, but sadly over the years I have felt this has lacked considerably which is a great shame.
I wanted Mulberry Live In Care to be different. We want to give people want they want, not what other people think they want. I know my carers well so understand which relationships will potentially work.
I run my business from home so can be contacted seven days a week around the clock. Evenings and weekends are normally considered to be emergency hours but this is often when relatives and friends actually have the time to talk about their loved ones so I feel it is important to be available during these times and that we all work together to establish the very best levels of care. Families know their loved ones best so we always listen.
I often say that looking after a client is the easiest part. You also have to support family and friends which is just as important, particularly during end of life care or when coping with a serious illness.”
